Partnership with Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital

Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital has been a key ally since the beginning of our mission. With deep commitment, professionalism, and unwavering dedication, they have opened their doors to us, helping bring hope and support to hundreds of grieving families. This pioneering hospital in Colombia and Latin America has developed a comprehensive grief care program that is transforming lives.

Together, we are extending our impact in the region through the innovative Hospital Padrino mentorship program. Thanks to this initiative, hospitals in rural areas with limited resources receive support and guidance to improve care for grieving families in marginalized communities, ensuring that each family gets the compassionate support they deserve.

This includes training healthcare professionals in these hospitals, ensuring that every family receives care filled with compassion and empathy.

Report And who is taking care of you?

Read the report on how Module 3 of the 'And who is taking care of you?' program trained health professionals to provide compassionate bereavement support, including self-care tools.

“I discovered that feeling compassion toward myself was healthy. My idea of self-compassion used to mean pity, and I didn’t feel good about it, because I thought I was not being grateful for all the good I had.”
