The program is specially designed for healthcare professionals, providing the necessary tools to manage their own grief and stress. Through training in mindfulness and conscious communication, this program emphasizes the importance of self-care, allowing professionals to be emotionally present and offer compassionate care to their patients.

Deepening support

The program offers training in mindfulness practices to help professionals cultivate a balance between personal care and caring for grieving families.

  1. We offer workshops focused on mindfulness practices that help professionals process their own grief, manage compassion fatigue, and promote a healthy balance between work and personal life.
  2. We provide training in mindful communication to enhance interpersonal skills, equipping healthcare professionals with the necessary tools to communicate with grieving families and, when necessary, deliver difficult news with compassion.
  3. Facilitate access to a variety of resources designed to help healthcare professionals to reduce stress.
 

Collaboration and support

We collaborate with psychologist Ximena Garcés Holguín, trained at Universidad Javeriana with a master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by University of California San Diego (UCSD), she brings over 10 years of experience integrating mindfulness into psychotherapy, mentoring, and workshops, providing inner resources for improved living and coexistence.
